There are so many different options to choose from when it comes to which dumbbells we should get for our workouts at home.
Being in the fitness space for 10 years now and being a personal trainer for 8 years, I have narrowed down my recommendations to 3 different types of dumbbells listed below.
1. Hex Dumbbell Weight Set
These are great because they come with a set of 5-25 pound set, which is perfect for anyone who is beginning and is still great for those who've been at it for a while. Those 25 pound dumbbells can get pretty heavy!
2. Bowflex Adjustable Dumbbells
These are great because they save a lot of space. Not only that, they pack a lot of weight in a small amount of space. Each dumbbell adjusts from 5-52.5 pounds in 2.5 pound increments for the first 25 pounds. These are convenient, space efficient, and I like using them so that's why I recommend the Bowfelx Adjustable Dumbbells as number 2!
3. Heavy Set of Dumbbells
The reason I recommend these last, instead of another set of dumbbells, is because I believe you are looking for dumbbells for one or two reasons. One, because you don't have any, in which case I'd say grab 1 + 3 and you'll have a nice selection of dumbbells for you to use. Or, if you like to keep things neat and space efficient, then #2 is the right set for you!
